This is a Christmas card from a few years ago.  This is the first one I made.

Owl Sketch

This is a sneak peak at the Christmas card for this year that I am sending out.  I will post the actual card in the near future.  I love sketching owls and they are still really popular so that is why I decided go with owl for the front of my Christmas cards.

I made this card from scrap paper and a white card that I got from work.  Then I added a button and some hand drawn stitching to help the flower in the back to stand out.  It is really easy.  It is a bit girly, but could be used for a lot of things like a bridal shower invitation, get well card, thank you card, birthday card, or just because.  If you would like steps on how to make the card then you can send me a post.  (Future posts will include tutorials.)

I am finally settled in enough to start posting things on my blog.  I am going to post cards that I have made and whatever else comes along that I like.  All cards can be reproduced for personal use, but not for sale or any profit.  I hope you enjoy the samples I will post and also that they will inspire you to get creative.
