The Joys of Fall

Here is a pumpkin I carved a while back.  I did it for a work contest, but didn't win.  I still thought it was fun to do even though it was a bit of work.

I love pumpkin seeds.  Here is the recipe I use:

PUMPKIN SEEDS

2 c. pumpkin seeds (well washed)
1 t. worchestershire sauce
3 T. butter, melted
1 T. salt

Boil seeds 10 min. in small amount of salted water.  Dry on towels.  Combine worchestershire sauce, butter and salt.  Pour over seeds and stir until seeds are well coated.  Bake on baking sheet for 2 hours at 225.  Stir often.  Seeds should be crisp, but not burned.  ENJOY!

Ok, so I am not so good at updating this, but deep down I really want to be better. That is why I have decided to post only one day a week. Clearly everyday wasn't working for me. I am aiming to post every Tuesday night because guaranteed I will not being going anywhere other than home to watch Biggest Loser. I love that show and am full on addicted. So I came across this blog that was just started today and the writer is so clever. I am waiting in anticipation for more to come. Check it out.... rightkindofsugar.blogspot.com Wish me luck tomorrow. I am going to need it.
